Started at the beginning of 2021, Cypriére Studio was named after its early prototype “Cypress Lane.” With a rich influence of Cajun culture, owner Susan Naquin Weisbrod began her work making art out of oyster shells while also working at a commercial architecture firm. Cypriére Studio has now transformed to offer a range of services.

Owner, Licensed Architect
Susan grew up in South Louisiana. She attended LSU & received a Bachelor of Architecture. After graduation, Susan remained in Baton Rouge to begin her career & receive her architectural license. She currently has eight years of experience working at a commercial architecture firm. While working in the commercial field, Susan discovered a love for building her own designs at home. In early 2021, Susan established Cypriére Studio to take her love of design & fabrication to the next level.
